On May 26, late at night, in one of the residential areas of the city, a senior investigator of the Main Department of the National Police, holding the rank of major, committed violence against a 14-year-old schoolgirl. The girl did not consent to the criminal's actions, which qualifies as rape.

The fate of the victim could have been more tragic if not for the vigilance of citizens. A resident of a neighboring house heard the desperate cries of a child and immediately reported it to the 102 hotline. Thanks to the prompt response, the major was detained right at the scene of the crime, not having time to escape.
