The political agenda on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France promises to be packed. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that another meeting with US President Donald Trump will take place soon, on June 17. The head of the Ukrainian state stated this in a comment to the 'Suspilne' TV channel.

Negotiation Plan: From Technical Details to Personal Meetings

According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian delegation plans to hold intensive negotiations with the American team over the course of a day. The agenda includes not only bilateral dialogue but also the necessity of conducting a large number of important technical meetings, including with representatives from the United Kingdom.

"I think we will meet with the president separately again tomorrow," the Ukrainian leader added, confirming his intention to continue the dialogue with Donald Trump.

Key Dialogue Topics: Air Defense and Object Protection

The meeting of the leaders, which took place on June 16, has already yielded concrete results regarding security discussions. Zelensky noted that during the conversation with the American leader, the topic of strengthening Ukraine's air defense was raised. The issue of protecting the skies over Ukraine remains one of the priorities amidst the ongoing war.

Evidence of Aggression: Photos of the Aftermath of the Strike on the Lavra

Special attention during the communication was paid to humanitarian aspects and war crimes. According to Reuters sources, Volodymyr Zelensky showed Donald Trump photos of the aftermath of the Russian strike on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The attack on this historical and cultural site occurred on the night of June 15.

Demonstrating the real consequences of the attacks is intended to highlight the scale of destruction and the need for continued support for Ukraine from Western partners.

G7 Unity Against Russia

Against the backdrop of bilateral negotiations, Zelensky also summarized the results of his talks with the leaders of the "G7" countries. According to him, the summit participants are united in their assessment of the situation on the front: Russia is not winning the war against Ukraine and is suffering significant losses in human resources. This statement became an important signal to the international community about maintaining support for Ukraine's sovereignty.
