News of Zelenskyy’s visit emerged after a French presidential advisor stated in March that the Ukrainian leader had not been invited to the summit scheduled for June 15–17. However, according to three sources, the participation of Ukraine’s head of state has now been confirmed. This change in status may indicate a shift in the diplomatic strategy of Western partners.
One official clarified that Zelenskyy intends to raise issues of military diplomacy and air defense. The main goal will be countering Russian missile strikes, which continue to damage Ukraine’s infrastructure and civilian objects.
