Volodymyr Zelenskyy has shared shocking data obtained by Ukrainian intelligence in his Telegram channel. The information concerns secret documents that reach the desk of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. These reports contain an analysis of the internal situation in the Russian Federation, and according to the Ukrainian president, even the censored information seen by the Kremlin leaves no illusions about impending problems.
Rising Dissatisfaction and an "Inevitable Plateau"
According to intelligence data, forecast indicators of Russian dissatisfaction with Putin's actions show a steady increase. The documents submitted to leadership already include the notion that this process cannot be stopped. Experts conclude that the level of dissatisfaction will not reach a plateau until September — a key month when elections to the State Duma are scheduled in Russia.
The situation is exacerbated by the decline in support for the ruling party, United Russia. Intelligence agencies are recording a persistent trend of decreasing loyalty, which in turn creates a need for large-scale falsification of voting results to maintain the appearance of regime support.
Regional Crisis and Hidden Factors
Special attention in the reports is paid to the growth of protest sentiments in Russian regions. Zelenskyy emphasized that current intelligence reports may not fully reflect the real picture, as potential events in June, July, and August have not yet been factored in.
The Ukrainian leader believes that these months will contribute additional instability to the situation within the Russian Federation. Against this backdrop, he noted that just pressure on Russia for the war will only intensify.
Political Consequences and Change of Power
Zelenskyy links the deterioration of the internal situation in Russia with the necessity of peace negotiations. He stated that trends will not change, and over time, a peace agreement may have to be concluded not with Putin, but with other representatives of Russia who "will not shut themselves off from reality".
"Unfortunately, to all public and non-public proposals for peace that we have made, only words about continuing his war were heard," added the President of Ukraine. He believes that the internal Russian situation should convince the Kremlin of the opposite — that peace is necessary.
Factors Behind the Rating Drop
Recall that according to data from the pro-government VTsIOM, the approval rating of Vladimir Putin's actions has fallen to a minimum since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Among the key reasons influencing public sentiment, experts cite:
- Blocking of the popular Telegram messenger;
- Restriction of access to mobile internet;
- Sharp rise in prices for goods and services;
- Citizen fatigue from the war and mobilization.
Thus, the secret documents described by Zelenskyy confirm the trend of deepening crisis within the Russian state, which, according to Kyiv, will inevitably lead to the need for a change in political course.
