Breaking up is an event that representatives of different zodiac signs experience in very different ways. For some, it is a final full stop after which a new chapter of life begins; for others, it is merely a temporary pause, at the end of which they are ready to give the relationship a second chance. Top of the ranking: Taurus, Cancer, and Scorpio
Taurus took first place in the list of signs most inclined to return to exes. People of this sign find any changes hard to bear, value stability, and can cling to a relationship that once gave them a sense of security and comfort for a long time. For a Taurus, going back to an ex is not a step backward: if the feelings remain, they are ready to try to restore what was important, especially if they are convinced that this time the couple will be able to avoid the same mistakes. In second and third place are Cancer and Scorpio. Cancers find it extremely hard to let go of people they have truly attached themselves to: they are capable of maintaining an emotional connection with exes for years and readily agree to reconcile when they see a chance to regain their former closeness. Scorpios, in turn, experience love very deeply, so even after a breakup strong feelings can linger for a long time. If there is still passion, trust, and an emotional bond between the partners, a person of this sign may well try to revive the past relationship.
Romantics and analysts: Pisces, Libra, Virgo, and Capricorn
Pisces occupy a special place in the ranking thanks to their tendency toward idealization. As great romantics, they recall above all the good moments of past relationships, and an ex-partner can easily become an important person in their life again, especially if the feelings have not yet faded. Libra, in turn, value the partnership itself and may miss not only a specific person but also the sense of harmony that the relationship provided. If feelings remain after the breakup, people of this sign are often ready to try everything once more. Virgo approach the question more rationally: they analyze the reasons for the breakup for a long time and may mentally return to past relationships for many more months. If they ultimately decide that the problems can be fixed, Virgos are quite capable of giving an ex a second chance. Capricorns are not prone to spontaneous returns, however, if the previous relationship was serious, they find it hard to simply cross it out of their life. They may revive the romance if they see a perspective in it and are confident that the old mistakes will not be repeated.
Signs that prefer to move forward

Aries may go through a breakup very intensely, but their hot-tempered nature rarely allows them to stay in the past for long. They can return to an ex only because of a strong surge of emotions — though such a reconciliation does not always last. Gemini may suddenly remember an ex and send them a message out of curiosity, however, their fickleness often prevents them from making a final decision: whether to return to the old relationship or open the door to a new romance. Leo may return to an ex if they feel that a strong connection still remains between them, but for a reconciliation it is important for them to see a sincere desire from the partner to resume the relationship, since they do not like to feel rejected.

It should be noted that various astrological publications define the circle of signs inclined to return in different ways. Thus, the publication Gazeta.ua, in its article, singles out exactly six signs that "constantly return to exes," whereas Styler (RBC-Ukraine) considers all twelve signs, arranging them into a single ranking by their readiness to reconcile. In both cases, Taurus, Cancer, and Scorpio appear among the leaders, however, the specific set of "returning" signs and their order may differ depending on the author's methodology. Moreover, astrological generalizations are of an entertainment nature and are not a scientific fact: the behavior of a specific person is determined by a multitude of individual factors, not solely by the position of the Sun at the moment of birth.
Thus, the astrological ranking of signs inclined to return to exes is an entertaining but subjective overview. Regardless of the sign, the key condition for reconciliation remains the mutual desire of the partners to work on the relationship and the confidence that the old mistakes will not be repeated.
