Astrologers from the Ukrainian lifestyle project Styler (RBC-Ukraine) published a detailed ranking of all twelve zodiac signs based on their attachment to money and their willingness to work hard for financial success. According to the experts, one's attitude toward finances is largely determined by personality: some signs strive for stability and frugality, others are not afraid to take risks, while for some a high income becomes the main goal in life. The ranking is based on the traditional astrological characteristics of each sign and reflects the typical financial patterns that, according to the astrologers, manifest in the behavior of representatives of that sign.
Ranking leaders: Capricorns, Virgos, Scorpios and Taurus
The undisputed leader of the list is Capricorn. For them, financial success is not just a nice bonus but an important part of their life goals. Representatives of this sign are ready to build their careers for years, postpone personal pleasures for the sake of a big result, and view money as a measure of independence and achievement. In second place are Virgos, who, according to the astrologers, understand the value of money better than anyone and rarely treat it lightly: they know how to plan a budget, control expenses, and gradually accumulate funds. Scorpios round out the top three, for whom money is above all a means of control over their own life and a guarantee that they will not have to ask others for help. Taurus also shows high motivation to earn, since a good income is inextricably linked for them with comfort, quality things, and the ability not to deny themselves pleasures.
Money as a tool of status and freedom
The next group of signs approaches money pragmatically, but with an emphasis on what it can provide. Lions, according to the astrologers, do not love the banknotes themselves but what they provide: status, comfort, and the ability to live well. They are not afraid to spend on quality things and experiences, but at the same time they strive to have sufficient income to afford what they want. Aries perceive money as proof of their own success and a victory: they are ready to work a lot for a high income, although sometimes they spend too boldly and do not like to wait long for results. Libra value a beautiful and comfortable life, so for them money is a way to surround themselves with pleasant things, from clothing to travel. Gemini, in turn, love money as a tool that gives freedom of choice, and can easily find a way to earn, but just as easily spend part of their funds on a spontaneous idea.
Signs for whom money is not the main thing
At the other end of the spectrum are the signs for whom the financial question gives way to emotions, creativity, and experiences. Pisces, in the opinion of the astrologers, do not always put money first: for them relationships, creativity, and experiences are more important, and they are capable of spending their savings on what brings them pleasure, even if the purchase was not planned. Sagittarius love money, but they love even more the opportunities that can be obtained with it — travel, entertainment, and new experiences easily make them spend what they earn, so saving is not always their strong suit. Aquarius are not inclined to measure success solely by the size of a bank account and can earn well only if they see an interesting idea in their work or an opportunity to realize something unusual. Cancer, on the contrary, perceive money above all as security and confidence in tomorrow: they can be quite frugal, especially when it comes to family, housing, and a financial cushion.
Context and caveats
It should be noted that the ranking is of an entertainment-informational nature and is based on traditional astrological characteristics that have no confirmed scientific basis. The Styler project, like other lifestyle sections of Ukrainian media, publishes horoscopes and astrological reviews in the format of entertainment content. The Styler editorial team explicitly states that it may not share the views of the authors of the publications, and evaluative judgments, according to Ukrainian law, cannot be refuted or have their truthfulness proven. Thus, the ranking should be perceived as an element of cultural and entertainment discourse, and not as a guide to financial planning.
