Filming an entertainment show isn't always about fun pranks and smiles. Sometimes, real conflicts flare up behind the scenes that can cost a broadcast. This is exactly what happened on the set of 'Guess the Melody,' where pop star Zlata Ognevich almost ruined the recording of an episode due to the unsportsmanlike behavior of her colleague Hryhoriy Reshetnik.
A sports moment or gross injustice?
The situation escalated during the height of the musical round. The rules were simple: hear the melody and name the correct answer first. Zlata, possessing excellent musical hearing, caught the notes first and had already started to pronounce the name of the composition. However, Reshetnik, unwilling to yield the lead, literally hijacked the initiative on the fly, loudly announcing the answer and claiming the victory for himself.
For many viewers, this might have looked like a harmless joke or part of the game. But for the singer, it was the last straw. Ognevich did not tolerate the dishonesty and openly expressed her indignation, stating that after such treatment, she saw no point in continuing the game.
Boycott and the Host's Rescue
The artist's reaction was instant and decisive. Instead of suppressing her emotions, she demonstratively left the game zone, heading for the exit with the words: "No! This is wrong! I am leaving the show. Everyone!" Cameras captured the star leaving the set in complete distress, leaving the hosts and guests in confusion.
The host DZIDZIO (Mykhailo Khoma) took charge of saving the situation. He quickly reacted to the guest's departure, caught up with her, and literally carried her back into the frame. Amidst the laughter and applause of the audience, he defused the tension, complimenting Zlata and reminding her that she and Hryhoriy are old friends who shouldn't fight over a game.
Change of Tactics
After the conflict was peacefully resolved, Ognevich returned to the game, but her behavior changed drastically. If before the incident she actively participated in discussions, gave hints, and wasn't afraid to shout out her versions, the star now preferred a waiting tactic.
In a joking manner, the singer noted that she gained valuable experience playing with "dishonest opponents" and no longer intended to share her knowledge with competitors. She kept her guesses to herself, not rushing to announce answers to avoid repeating the unpleasant situation.
Despite the emotional outburst, the filming was completed successfully. However, this episode became one of the most memorable moments of the broadcast, showing that even in an entertainment show, a sense of justice can outweigh the desire to simply have fun.
