Digital Modernization: Kyivstar to Switch Off 3G in Several Ukrainian Regions Starting August 18
📡 Starting August 18, 2026, Kyivstar will switch off the 3G network in several regions of Ukraine. Frequencies will be reallocated to strengthen 4G and prepare for 5G.
What subscribers need to know:
📱 Check smartphone settings: enable VoLTE and auto-network selection.
🆕 If you have an old phone, replace your SIM card with a USIM (free at stores).
🚀 This will improve internet speed and call quality.
