Zelensky Appoints Chenchik as Acting Head of Ukraine's State Border Service
On August 31, 2026, Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the temporary appointment of SBS Deputy Head Vadym Chenchik as the acting head of the agency. At the same time, Decree No. 836/2026 relieved Valeriy Vavrynyuk of his position.
