The Verkhovna Rada supported Bills No. 16051-1 and No. 15460 in first reading, changing the VAT payment rules for international parcels and e-commerce. The new provisions may take effect no earlier than July 1, 2027.

The Verovna Rada committee has recommended for the third time the adoption of a bill to scrap the VAT exemption on international parcels under €150. The reform could bring the budget around UAH 10 billion annually and will not take effect before January 1, 2027.
