Japan Begins Flight Tests of Strategic Electronic Combat Aircraft XEC-2
Japan has begun flight tests of the strategic electronic combat aircraft XEC-2. 🇯🇵 The aircraft, based on the C-2, completed its first flight from Gifu Air Base, reaching an altitude of 7 km. In the future, the EC-2 will replace obsolete models from 1986 and will support F-35A and F-15J fighters. ✈️📡
