On September 2, Ukrzaliznytsia is recording delays of up to 10 hours 48 minutes for a number of trains — the record concerns the Lozova–Lviv service. The cause of the disruptions is the nighttime Russian ballistic strike on the railway infrastructure of Kyiv.

Following Russia's night ballistic attack on Kyiv, the Svytoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts were left without power, and a power grid accident occurred in Brovary. A children's hospital was damaged, and more than 50 people were injured.
