The Office of the Military Ombudsman of Ukraine has published a unified guide to local material support programs for military personnel and their families. Payments from communities can range from several to tens of thousands of hryvnias.

Five more communities in the Chernihiv region have been granted the status of territories of possible combat operations under Order No. 1389 of the Ministry of Development of Communities. Two were included partially; the Ponornitska and Minska communities are next in line.
