NKRKU Protects Debtors: From October 1, Ukrainians with Small Debts Will No Longer Pay for Disconnection and Reconnection of Electricity
From October 1, 2026, new NKRKU rules take effect in Ukraine: household consumers with a debt of less than half the subsistence minimum are exempt from paying for the disconnection and reconnection of electricity, and in the case of an illegal disconnection the operator bears all the costs.
