The Pension Fund of Ukraine has listed seven grounds for terminating the monthly living allowance for IDPs — from major purchases and currency operations to prolonged stays abroad.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine has clarified the conditions for housing subsidies: a threshold for large purchases of 100,000 UAH, restrictions on deposits, and utility debt exceeding 680 UAH.

For Independence Day in August 2026, Ukrainians will receive a one-time payment of 450 to 3,100 hryvnias. Most will get the money automatically, while those who recently acquired the status must file an application with the Pension Fund by August 21.

The PFSU clarified: an inherited apartment or house does not deprive an old-age pensioner of the right to a housing subsidy, provided the housing is not rented out. The exception does not apply to length-of-service pensions, disability pensions, or survivor's pensions.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine has clarified that IDPs can apply for a housing subsidy based on their actual place of residence. In this case, the income of other registered persons is not taken into account, and the living allowance is not included in the calculation of the family's total income.
