US Housing Market Stagnant: Construction Plunges 12.4% While AI Fuels Production Growth
The U.S. Commerce Department reported that construction starts fell 12.4% in July to 1.239 million units, below forecasts. Meanwhile, production rose 0.2% on a wave of AI and defense investment.
