The Bohdan Khmelnytsky monument is open to visitors again

The bronze equestrian statue of Bohdan Khmelnytsky stands tall on a massive stone pedestal at Sofiyska Square in Kyiv. After the restoration work was completed and the protective frame dismantled, the monument is once again accessible to residents and tourists. Against a clear sky with white clouds, the monument looks especially majestic.
