British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has outlined a concrete plan to ensure Ukraine's security. According to him, the "Coalition of the Willing" has reached an agreement to deploy a multinational military contingent on the country's territory. The key condition for launching the operation will be the establishment of a ceasefire.

Concrete action plan

During a meeting in Paris, the British leader confirmed that 25 states are already ready for a rapid response. "We have developed a plan to deploy multinational forces in Ukraine. 25 nations are participating, which are ready to deploy literally within a few days as soon as a ceasefire is reached," Starmer stated. In his assessment, partners already have a clear roadmap of actions that does not require lengthy preparation.

Legal guarantees and funding

In addition to military presence, the participating countries have prepared a package of reliable and legally binding security guarantees for Kyiv. These plans were agreed upon back in January at a meeting in Paris. Furthermore, the UK has confirmed its participation in the EU's new aid program for Ukraine. The total amount of funds allocated for defense planning will amount to 90 billion euros.

Expansion of the coalition and new threats

The "Coalition of the Willing" continues to expand its ranks. Summit participants agreed to hold the next meeting directly on Ukrainian territory and announced the accession of two new states. Against the backdrop of the growing threat of ballistic missile use, leaders of 10 European countries signed a declaration on the creation of an Integrated Missile Defense Coalition.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speaking at the meeting, focused on urgent needs for weaponry. He stated plans to receive 300 missiles for Patriot air defense systems from allies to ensure reliable protection of the country during the winter period.
