Russian forces strike Vinnytsia region
On the morning of July 31, the Russian army carried out a new air raid on the Vinnytsia region. Information about the incident came from the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Natalia Zabolotna, as cited by RBK-Ukraine. Events unfolded rapidly, starting from early morning.
At approximately 09:29, authorities warned residents of the Haisyn district about the threat of an enemy attack. The situation escalated quickly: by 09:45, it became known that the Vinnytsia district could also be targeted. At 10:01, Zabolotna confirmed the attack, stating that the region was under air raid.
Consequences of the strike
Preliminary data indicates that Russian missiles hit civilian infrastructure objects. As a result of the incident, one person was injured. Exact details and the scale of destruction are currently being clarified.
This is not the first attack on the region in the last 24 hours. Earlier, on the night of July 30, the Vinnytsia region was also subjected to attacks. Meanwhile, on the morning of July 31, Russian forces attempted to strike Kyiv with drones, while the Ukrainian air defense system repelled new attacks throughout the night.
