Ukrainian director Alan Badoev has once again become the center of audience attention — not thanks to a new film, but thanks to his personal social media page. The celebrity published rare home photographs from his family archive, in which he poses together with his father Kazbek Idrisovich, and accompanied the images with warm words about the closest person in his life. According to the outlet Wave RBC.UA, the post quickly spread across feeds and moved fans, who are used to seeing the director primarily in a professional context.
Rare Frames from the Family Archive
In the published shots, the father and son are captured in a relaxed home atmosphere — without staged pathos or grand events. Badoev deliberately did not turn the moment into a public show, but simply shared warm frames from everyday life, which makes them especially valuable for the audience. It is precisely this restraint and naturalness, observers believe, that triggered the greatest response: the director shares personal moments with his father extremely rarely, so the new photographs were perceived as a rare glimpse behind the scenes of someone else's family.
"My Rock": The Director's Confession
In the caption to the photos, Badoev did not hide that time spent with his father is always special for him, though not without inner trials. "Father's Day is always happiness and a trial," he joked, gently pointing out the duality of a relationship in which closeness coexists with emotional strain. At the same time, the key to his confession was the phrase about strength: "Only with him do I feel boundless strength. He is my rock." In the director's words, it is exactly how his father becomes his support in any circumstances.
A Son Who Wants to Surprise His Father
Badoev placed a separate emphasis on the fact that Kazbek Idrisovich remains the only person in front of whom he still feels it is important to demonstrate his achievements and try to impress. For a person whose public career has long reached the international level, this confession sounds like a reference to childhood patterns: no matter how grown-up and famous the son has become, in his father's eyes he is still the one who wants to earn approval. With this detail, the director showed not only a professional, but also a son for whom family remains an important inner support.
Audience Reaction and Family Context
The publication once again reminded everyone that behind the image of a famous director stands a person whose personal life is built around close relationships. In a family context, Badoev has previously also shared moments with his daughter, who lives abroad, which, together with the new frames with his father, paints a picture of a person for whom family is a stable theme of public confessions. The new photographs with Kazbek Idrisovich, in essence, became a continuation of this line: without loud statements, but with an honest emphasis on who is the director's main "rock".
