A joyful event has occurred in the family of the famous Ukrainian restaurateur and judge of the show "MasterChef. Professionals", Alex Yakutov. After a long and difficult process, spouses Alex and Alya Yakutov officially became parents. The court satisfied their adoption application, and now little Kirill has become a full-fledged member of the family.
Official confirmation
The chef himself shared this news on his social media, publishing the first joint photo with his son. In the post text, Yakutov wrote: "Officially Alexandrovich! Today the court put the final dot to the adoption case, satisfying our application. Finally!".
According to information published by RBC-Ukraine, the family has been raising the boy for several weeks, who moved to a new home at the beginning of summer.
The road to fatherhood
The path to this happy moment turned out to be difficult and long for the couple. The spouses began collecting the necessary documents as early as spring 2024. They had to go through numerous bureaucratic procedures, mandatory checks, and specialized courses for adoption candidates.
According to the restaurateur's wife, Alya Yakutova, the decision to become parents had been brewing for a long time. As soon as the couple realized that adoption was their chance, they immediately started acting. After completing the training, the direct search for a child began, and the couple waited for more than a year for their turn in the child welfare service.
Meeting Kirill
The acquaintance with the future son took place at the end of April 2026. At that time, the boy was in the Vorzel Children's Home in the Kyiv region. For a month and a half, while the paperwork was being processed, Alex and Alya regularly visited the baby.
Today, the family is already adapting to a new life. Kirill has been living with his parents for more than a month, getting used to his new home, and has already made friends with the family pet — a cat named Leo, who was also rescued by this family.
