The wife of former Ukrainian Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov, designer Anastasia Fedorova, has issued a sharp reaction to the events unfolding on social media. She stated that the level of discussions surrounding her husband has gone beyond protest activity and has turned into what she calls a 'sick cult of personality'.

'An icon, f***ing'

In her statement, Anastasia Fedorova expressed fear regarding the current situation. According to her, society cannot stop at the stage of gratitude for work results or the defense of justice; instead, it is creating a fanatical image around the former minister.

'I am scared of this psychosis. It is scary to live in a country where people cannot stop... and start creating a sick cult of personality. Although no. Not a cult. An icon, f***ing. A real icon,' the designer wrote.

Family videos and 'fate matrices'

The woman was particularly outraged by the use of her personal materials in other people's fantasies. She noted that family videos are being circulated in social media feeds, specifically on Threads, where photos of other users are superimposed in her place.

'Family videos are used in their fantasies in personal accounts, substituting themselves in the wife's place. Next to them — my daughter. I don't even want to talk about sexualization. Describing in detail what you would do with someone else's husband is no longer a sense of humor,' Fedorova emphasized.

She noted that such posts are often found in sections with 'fate matrices' and advised the audience to read quality sources that form their own thinking, rather than comparing going out to protest with choosing partners in a dating app.

The daughter's future and common sense

Anastasia Fedorova expressed her desire to live in a country where common sense prevails, not mass euphoria. She emphasized the importance of self-respect and dignity for women.

'I really want my daughter to grow up in a country where no one is persecuted and people are not made into idols. Where people know their own worth... Otherwise, it will be very difficult for me to explain to her why she lost so many simple childhood joys just because she was born in our family,' the former minister's wife noted.

Criticism of the media and user reaction

The designer also drew attention to the work of the media, noting that the press often distorts the words of loved ones for cheap clickbait. She predicted that headlines would read: 'Ex-minister's wife is scared', 'she swears', and many will read only them, ignoring the essence.

'Because that is exactly how mature politics does not work. And that is exactly how society does not mature,' she summarized.

In the comments on the publication, users expressed skepticism. Many noted that they had not encountered such posts and pointed out that the main motivation for going out to rallies was not a 'cult of personality' of Fedorov, but a desire for change. According to commentators, people came out for justice, consciousness, and dignity, and individual distortions should not change the meaning of their support.
