On the night of July 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a large-scale series of strikes against military and military-economic targets on Russian territory. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed strikes on a number of strategically important targets, including infrastructure in the Moscow region and facilities in the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.

Strike on fuel infrastructure in the Moscow region

One of the key directions of the attack was the "Nefteservis" oil depot in Noginsk, Moscow region. According to the General Staff, a direct hit was recorded on the facility, which led to a fire on the enterprise's territory.

Ukrainian military command emphasized that this depot plays a critical role in the enemy's logistics, providing storage and supply of fuel and lubricants for the needs of the Russian armed forces.

Destruction of maritime logistics and equipment

Significant damage was also inflicted on maritime infrastructure. In the waters of the Azov and Black Seas, Ukrainian military forces struck:

  • two tankers transporting oil and petroleum products for the Russian army;
  • two floating cranes;
  • one tugboat.

These vessels ensured the operation of ports, the transshipment of military equipment, and the functioning of the enemy's overall logistics chain.

Attack on ships in Crimea

A separate episode of the operation was the strike on the Project 10410 patrol ship "Svetlyak" in Kerch. The General Staff noted that this is already the second ship of this type destroyed by Ukrainian forces in the last two days.

Project "Svetlyak" ships are used by the Russian Navy for patrolling waters, escorting vessels, and carrying out tasks to support the activities of the Navy and other law enforcement agencies.

Destruction of transport infrastructure

A railway bridge over the Belaya River near the settlement of Sabovka in the Luhansk region was also hit. According to Ukrainian command, this facility was actively used by Russian troops to transfer forces and military cargo.

Attacks on Russian territory

On the same night, Armed Forces drones attacked a number of targets on Russian territory. In particular, a large fire broke out at a Wildberries marketplace warehouse in Elektrostal, Moscow region.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that during the night operation, drones struck two important logistics facilities in the Moscow and Tambov regions.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
