Strategic meeting at the President's Office
During the meeting, Zelenskyy heard reports from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapat, the Chief of the General Staff, Ihor Skibiuk, the Minister of Defense, Yevhen Khmara, and the Deputy Head of the President's Office, Pavlo Palisa. The main focus of the discussion was on implementing a plan for long-range sanctions against Russia in response to the war.
The President confirmed that the operation to strike Russian forces and positions on temporarily occupied territories continues. Special attention was paid to Crimea, which remains a strategically important region for Ukraine. During the meeting, the list of priority targets for further attacks was updated.
Strengthening coordination and seeking partners
Zelenskyy instructed Commander-in-Chief Drapat to enhance information sharing and coordination with military leadership in the regions of Ukraine. This is necessary to ensure maximum operational efficiency and rapid response to changes in the situation.
Furthermore, the head of state announced active work by the Ministry of Defense and the President's Office command with European partners. The goal of these negotiations is to obtain additional assistance in the form of missile supplies for air defense systems, which is critical for protecting Ukrainian territory.
Results of recent operations
In recent days, Ukrainian forces have demonstrated high efficiency in striking strategic enemy objects. On the night of July 30, FPV drones struck the Wildberries marketplace logistics hub in Penza, Russia, damaging infrastructure used for military purposes.
Key objects in Crimea and southern Russia were also attacked. In particular, drones struck the port in Tamani (Krasnodar Krai), which plays an important role in the logistics of the Russian armed forces.
Strikes on the oil refining industry
On July 29 and 30, Ukrainian military forces struck the "Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez" oil refinery in Perm. According to sources, a direct hit and a fire were recorded on the enterprise's territory.
This plant is one of the largest in Russia, processing about 13 million tons of oil per year. Its products, including fuel and aviation kerosene, are actively used by the Russian military-industrial complex and the army. A strike on such an object deals a serious blow to the logistics and supply of Russian troops.
Other struck targets
Ukrainian defense forces also struck the "Primorsky Posad" training ground on the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region. In addition, drones struck a Russian boat base, tankers in the Black and Azov Seas, as well as five elements of the enemy's air defense system.
These actions indicate that Ukraine continues to actively use long-range means to strike strategic enemy objects, seeking to weaken its military potential and inflict economic damage.
