The premiere of Season 15 of the Ukrainian reality show “The Bachelor” took place on October 16, 2026, and by the very next day, social media turned into a platform for mass meme creation. The center of attention is basketball player Viacheslav Kravtsov, who stands 212 centimeters tall, and his first meetings with the contestants of the new season. Threads users gathered a whole body of jokes in a matter of hours, which Styler — an entertainment project by RBC-Ukraine — compiled into a selection of the most viral reactions to the start of the season. The presentation was so diverse that memes about Larisa the chicken and Kravtson's attempt to get into a low sports car are already competing for the title of the premiere's main internet phenomenon.
Introductions That Don't Look Romantic
The first episode of Season 15 featured an unusual set of contestant entrances. One of the girls decided to impress Kravtsov with singing, and the introduction turned out to be so emotional that the Bachelor literally carried her in his arms. Viewers, however, saw something completely different in this scene: one of the memes captured a situation familiar to parents—rocking a fussy baby. Another contestant, who plays basketball, started talking about her sports injuries during the introduction, and Kravtsov himself joined the conversation, so instead of flirting, viewers got a “health consultation.” Threads users immediately found a relatable parallel: “When you and your friend have had a couple of drinks and the conversation turns to aches and pains.” Another girl was remembered for her wide smile and came to the meeting holding a painting—the gift became part of her attention-grabbing strategy at the first party, where every contestant tried to stand out.
Larisa the Chicken: The Main Star of the First Episode
Among all the unusual introductions, the story of Kateryna Doicheva deserves special attention; she came to meet Kravtsov with her pet chicken named Larisa. Footage shows the bird holding a red rose in its beak, while Kravtsov, dressed in a light jacket over a white T-shirt, holds Larisa in his arms with an expression of mild bewilderment. The scene instantly went viral: memes about the chicken are already competing for audience attention on par with jokes about the Bachelor himself. According to Threads users, Larisa has every chance of becoming a separate icon of the season, and her image—with a rose in her beak against a romantic backdrop of candles and red roses—has already spawned dozens of variations on social media.
The Sports Car and 212 Centimeters: A Quest Turned into Quotes
However, it was Kravtsov's attempt to get into the low sports car that one of the contestants arrived in that became the main reason for jokes. Given the basketball player's height of 212 centimeters, an action ordinary to most turned into a real physical quest: footage shows Kravtsov with a characteristic facial expression trying to fit into the compact body. Threads users began inventing their own explanations for what they saw, comparing the situation to everyday inconveniences and joking about how difficult it is to fit into a small car when you are over two meters tall. The meme “That same classmate at a high school reunion,” which plays on the contestant's spectacular arrival in a sports car, and jokes about “the cat getting dirty in the dust I just swept up” (Kravtsov's reaction to the rumba performed by Daria Kharitonova and her ballroom dance partner) completed the picture of viral content.
Context: Who and What's Next
Season 15 of “The Bachelor” continues the format where the lead is a public figure—this season, basketball player Viacheslav Kravtsov. The show airs on Ukrainian television, and its entertainment content is actively discussed on social media, primarily on Threads, where the audience forms its own narrative around each episode. Earlier, Styler reported that actress Antonina Khyzhniak will become the next “Bachelorette” in 2027, which sets the development vector for the franchise for the coming year. For now, viewers are focused on what has already happened: Larisa the chicken, the sports car, the rumba, and singing in arms—all of this made up the first chapter of the season's memes, and judging by the pace of reaction on social media, it will grow with each new episode.
