Fire breaks out at enterprise in Bila Tserkva after September 8 strikes: residents urged to close windows

In Bila Tserkva, a fire and heavy smoke developed at one of the enterprises as a result of an enemy attack carried out on September 8. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing an official Telegram message from the Bila Tserkva City Council. City authorities appealed to residents of nearby buildings, asking them to close their windows and, where possible, to avoid staying in the smoke-affected area, in order to reduce the risk of combustion products and smoke entering their homes.

Recommendations for residents and ban on filming

In addition to the call to close windows, the city council asked residents not to take photos or videos of the aftermath of the attack and not to share such materials online. The message emphasized the need to "take care of yourself and follow the recommendations of the relevant services." At the time the appeal was published, an air alert was still in effect in the region, so residents were urged to remain in safe places and to monitor further official statements from the authorities.

Strikes on Kyiv: casualties and burning warehouses

On the same day, September 8, Russia struck warehouse buildings in Kyiv. According to available data, two people were killed as a result of one of the hits in the Solomianskyi district. In addition, another warehouse building caught fire in the Holosiivskyi district following a repeated strike. Thus, the attacks of September 8 affected both Kyiv and the nearby suburb of Bila Tserkva, where the consequences of the strike manifested as a fire at an industrial facility.

Hit on a TV channel building

It is also reported that a Russian drone hit the building of the "My — Ukraine" TV channel, where the "United News" TV marathon was being broadcast at the time of the attack. This hit became another episode in the series of strikes on facilities in Kyiv during September 8.
