The exclusive online premiere of the Original series "The Brave Girl" has taken place on the Kyivstar TV platform. The four-episode detective melodrama is now available for viewing and opens the season of new Originals premieres on the platform. As RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the Kyivstar TV website, the project combines a tense detective storyline with a personal story of choosing between professional duty and feelings.
Plot and the Lead Character
At the heart of the story is 25-year-old Yevheniia Marchuk, an operative at one of the central departments of the Kyiv police, considered one of the best in her unit. The heroine chose this profession by calling: she speaks several foreign languages, confidently navigates modern technologies, and is not accustomed to backing down from difficult tasks. The turning point comes when, during a dangerous undercover assignment, her first love appears in Yevheniia's life — now she must not only see an important operation through to the end, but also cope with feelings she was not prepared for.
Cast
The lead role of Yevheniia Marchuk was played by Anastasiia Nesterenko. The series also stars Oleksandr Sokolov, Tetyana Zlova, Iryna Rozhdestvenska, Kateryna Shkola, Maksym Riabin and other Ukrainian actors. Thus, the project relies entirely on a domestic cast, in line with the platform's Originals lineup strategy.
