The financial side of the issue

Arsenal is preparing a new official offer, the amount of which will be £70 million. Previously, the Londoners had already tried to agree on a transfer, making a verbal request for £55 million plus £10 million in bonuses, but this offer was rejected.

At the "Gunners", they understand that even a sum of £70 million may prove insufficient to satisfy Newcastle's ambitions, however, this step is necessary to activate the official stage of negotiations and demonstrate the seriousness of intentions.

Why Arteta wants Guimarães

The head coach of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, personally insists on signing the Brazilian. The specialist is convinced that Guimarães will ideally strengthen the central line of the London team, adding the necessary balance, ball control, and creativity.

The player's statistics speak for themselves. Playing for Newcastle since 2022, Bruno has proven himself as one of the strongest midfielders in the English Premier League. To his credit are 153 official matches, 30 goals scored, and 26 assists.
