Residents of Ukraine are facing a sharp change in weather conditions in the coming days. While the first half of the week will please citizens with comfortable and dry warmth, by the end of the working week the situation will change dramatically due to the arrival of an active atmospheric front. Forecasters have detailed the meteorological picture by day, warning of possible precipitation and a noticeable drop in temperature.

Weather Forecast for October 7 and 8: Peak of Autumn Warmth

According to renowned forecaster Natalka Didenko, Wednesday, October 7, is expected to bring luxurious warmth to Ukraine. The maximum daytime air temperature will range from +20 to +24 degrees Celsius. Precipitation is unlikely, with only an increase in cloud cover expected in the western, central, and southern regions, but a dry air mass will prevail everywhere. Similar stable weather without precipitation will persist on Thursday, October 8, although fog is forecasted in places in the southern part of the country at night and in the morning.

Cold Atmospheric Front and Rains on October 9

As early as Friday, October 9, the weather will begin to change rapidly. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center forecasts rain across most of Ukraine, except for the eastern and southeastern regions. Daytime air temperatures will begin to drop noticeably, averaging +12 to +19 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists attribute these sharp changes to the passage of a cold atmospheric front that will bring both precipitation and northern freshness.

Weather Outlook for the Weekend of October 10

On Saturday, October 10, the rains will stop, and dry weather with plenty of sunshine will return to Ukraine. However, the return of heat should not be expected: daytime thermometer readings will show a modest +12...+16 degrees. Traditionally, the southern and southeastern regions will be the exception, where the air can still warm up to +18...+24 degrees. A gradual decrease in temperature is also expected in Kyiv and the region after the warm starting days of the week.
