Diplomatic Deadlock: Ryabkov Confirms Moscow Has Not Received Zelensky's Proposals from the US

Moscow has commented on information regarding Kyiv's plans to end the military conflict. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov officially stated that the Russian side has not received any proposals from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky via the United States. This statement came against the backdrop of reports that Kyiv allegedly handed over its action plan to Washington, aimed at increasing pressure on Russia.

Absence of Diplomatic Transfer

According to Sergey Ryabkov, Washington has not transferred the Ukrainian leader's proposals for ending the war to Moscow. This means that, despite Kyiv's active rhetoric about seeking paths to peace, diplomatic channels between the US and Russia on this issue have not yet been activated. The Russian side emphasizes that without direct transfer and discussion of conditions, any statements remain mere declarations. Ryabkov noted that Moscow is ready to promptly organize a visit by US President's special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Russia as soon as their real plans and authority become clearer.
