The Ukrainian capital has once again faced a massive air attack, resulting in destruction and casualties among civilians in various districts of the city. According to operational services, the most serious consequences affected the Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi districts of the capital.

Attack on Solomianskyi District and Orlyatko Park

In the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv, debris from a downed Russian unmanned aerial vehicle fell directly onto the territory of a popular public space — Orlyatko Park. As a result of falling shrapnel, two women aged 35 and 40 sustained injuries of varying severity. Ambulance crews quickly arrived at the scene and hospitalized the victims with shrapnel wounds.

Fire in Darnytskyi District and Other Incidents

Parallel to the incident in the park, an emergency situation arose in the Darnytskyi district of the capital. Here, the fall of the drone triggered a fire in private residential buildings. An elderly local resident, 72 years old, received severe burns to her hands and was taken to a medical facility to receive necessary assistance. Investigative and operational groups, bomb disposal experts, and fire crews continue to work at the scene.

General Context of Escalation and Strikes in Other Regions

This attack on Kyiv comes against the backdrop of a general escalation of tension across the country. Recall that earlier reports emerged about a strike on a convoy of civilians evacuating from Kupyansk, as well as a drone hitting an educational institution in Rivne, where 20 people were injured. Experts note the systemic nature of strikes on civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
