According to verified data, the strike hit the balcony of an apartment on the fifth floor of a multi-story residential building in the Industrialny district of Kharkiv. As a result of the explosion and the subsequent fire, the balcony was damaged, and the glazing was shattered in the affected apartment and in neighboring premises. Units of the State Service for Emergency Situations (SES) responded promptly at the scene: the local fire was extinguished, after which the rescuers inspected the building's structures for stability and safety for the residents.
Condition of the Injured and the Actions of Emergency Services
A 30-year-old man — a resident of the building — was injured as a result of the hit. According to information provided by the head of the Kharkiv RMA, Oleksiy Synehubov, and confirmed by Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the injured man sustained shrapnel wounds and an acute stress reaction. Medical assistance was provided on site, after which the man was referred for examination. Emergency services operated in a standard mode: the fire was extinguished, the structures were inspected, and no threat to the remaining residents was established at the time the incident was recorded.
