Ukrainian theatre, film, and television actress Elena Svetlitskaya surprised viewers and star coaches with a new creative persona during the blind auditions of the vocal show 'The Voice of the Country' in 2026. Performing Gaitana's hit song 'Samotnya bosa', the artist took off her heels right during the performance and continued to sing and dance barefoot, evoking bright emotions in the audience. Her beloved, famous actor Taras Tsymbalyuk, came to the shooting set to support the contestant.
Bright Performance and Coaches' Reaction
Elena Svetlitskaya's energy quickly transferred to the project's judges. While the actress confidently owned the stage barefoot, Tina Karol could not resist and also took off her shoes, starting to dance energetically right on her coach chair, while Natalia Mogilevskaya danced alongside MONATIK. At the end of the song, Natalia Mogilevskaya pressed the coveted red button, warmly welcoming the participant and inviting her to her team, calling Svetlitskaya true light.
Musical Past and New Creative Plans
As the actress herself admitted, music has accompanied her throughout her entire life. In childhood, she studied violin at a music school, played in an ensemble, and performed as a solo vocalist, while in adulthood she mastered the guitar on her own. According to Svetlitskaya, vocals have always remained her main hobby and favorite entertainment, but now she plans to go beyond the usual acting profession, create her own music album, and record original songs.
Taras Tsymbalyuk's Appearance and Backstage Jokes
An unexpected surprise for the audience was the appearance of Taras Tsymbalyuk on stage, who presented Elena with a luxurious bouquet of pink roses. The actor's appearance immediately shifted the coaches' attention to the couple's personal life, and Yuriy Gorbunov humorously offered his services as a host at their potential celebration. Backstage, Tsymbalyuk joked that if necessary, he is ready to create a vocal trio together with Elena and her star mentor Natalia Mogilevskaya.
Significance of the Event for Cultural Life
Elena Svetlitskaya's successful debut on the country's main vocal stage emphasizes the versatility of modern Ukrainian artists who continue to develop their art despite difficult times. Such events unite the public, demonstrate the importance of sincere feelings, music, and cinema, and inspire viewers to new achievements and faith in art.
