A noticeable trend towards lower prices on a range of basic food products has been recorded in Ukrainian retail chains. Market analysis shows that the situation in the grain segment is uneven. One major chain recorded a significant drop in the minimum price per kilogram of buckwheat, while in other retail outlets, prices remain at previous levels.
The situation with first-category chicken eggs also varies. While prices in most chains hold steady, some supermarkets have introduced offers that are significantly more advantageous for shoppers.
