Google may unveil the Pixel Tag tracker, which will become a direct competitor to the popular Apple AirTag. An image of the gadget has already been published by 9to5Google, showcasing a minimalist design with the signature logo.

Information about the existence of the new tracker emerged thanks to a product description in one of the Slovenian online stores. According to the data, the device is positioned as a compact and durable gadget operating on the updated Google Find My Device network, which was recently renamed Find Hub. This solution aims to fill the niche for finding lost items within the Android ecosystem.

The device description, posted on a local resource, reveals the key capabilities of the Pixel Tag:
