The weather in Ukraine is entering a phase of instability: after a period of precipitation and cooling, meteorologists are forecasting a sharp rise in temperatures. On Wednesday, July 22, a significant part of the country will be under the influence of a cool front, however, the return of summer heat is expected as early as next week.
Temperature map: from +19°C to +31°C
According to the forecast published on Facebook by meteorologist Natalka Didenko, Wednesday will be a day of contrasts. While dry weather will prevail over most of the territory, the temperature background will vary depending on the region.
The highest thermometer readings, reaching +26...+31°C, are recorded in the southern and central regions. This will allow heat lovers to enjoy the last days of real summer before a possible cooling.
At the same time, the air will be significantly cooler in the north and west of the country. In these zones, the temperature will drop to +19...+22°C. The rest of the regions of Ukraine will fall into an intermediate range, where the thermometer columns will show +22...+25°C during the day.
Situation in Kyiv and night forecast
The capital of Ukraine will not be left aside from weather changes either. In Kyiv, during the day on July 22, the temperature is expected to be within +22...+25°C. However, nights will become noticeably cooler: according to data from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center (UkrGMC), night temperatures in Kyiv may drop to +17°C.
Meteorologists note that for the most part of the country, the weather will remain dry, despite local risks of precipitation.
Return of heat
For those who have already felt discomfort from the cooling, meteorologists have reassuring news. Natalka Didenko assured that the current cool anomaly is only a temporary phenomenon.
"From next week, it will be hot everywhere in Ukraine," the expert emphasized. This means that already at the end of July, the temperature background throughout the country will normalize, returning to classic summer values.
Recall that earlier, meteorological conditions in western Ukraine led to natural disasters, including downpours that damaged the harvest, and hail that hit agriculture. Experts continue to monitor the situation to warn the population of possible risks in the future.
