A large-scale interactive project called "The Human Body" has opened in Kyiv, allowing visitors to literally "look inside" the human organism. On an area of more than five thousand square meters, the space features giant models of organs, VR zones, and over a hundred interactive objects. According to the organizers, the project opened on August 29 and brings together 50 exhibits and themed zones, as well as more than 100 pieces of interactive equipment, turning the study of anatomy into a full-fledged immersive journey.
Scale and technology
The space is built around multimedia technologies, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence: visitors observe the workings of the body through giant 3D models and interactive installations. The organizers emphasize that a guest here is not a passive viewer but a participant in a kind of journey through the human body. Completing the full route takes about an hour and a half, making the format accessible both for family visits and for individual exploration.
Key exhibits
Among the most striking objects are a pulsating three-meter heart, "breathing" lungs, an interactive esophagus tunnel, and the so-called "DNA tree." These installations vividly demonstrate physiological processes on an enlarged scale, turning complex biological mechanisms into a spectacular and tangible experience. It is precisely these objects that form the core of the route and set its visual and emotional tone.
Not an anatomy museum
Pohorelko, founder of Unipark and the author and organizer of the project, noted that the idea for the space emerged even before the full-scale invasion, when there were no large interactive venues on this topic in Ukraine. "It is important for us to emphasize: this is not an anatomy museum. Our goal is to show, in an easy and engaging way, how the human body actually works. If, after visiting, a person starts to pay more attention to themselves — then we created this project for a reason," he stated. Thus, the project is positioned as an educational-entertainment format rather than a purely scientific one.
Stars and scientific expertise
One of the features of the space is the selfie avatars of famous Ukrainians — boxer Oleksandr Usyk and basketball player Vyacheslav Kravtsov. A number of public figures joined the narration of the exhibits: Masha Yefrosynina, Olya Sumskaya, Olya Polyakova, Pavel Zibrov, KAZKA, Anatoly Anatolych, Lilia Rebric, Vladimir Goryansky, Vadim Oleinik, Garik Korogodsky, Alexander Pedan, ONUKA, Timur Mishchenko, and Dasha Tregubova. Medical and scientific specialists were involved in creating the exhibits: cardiologist and transplant surgeon Boris Todurov became the ambassador of the heart zone, and the Institute of Cardiology of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine served as the project's main medical partner.
Plans and future format
The venue is planned to host lectures by doctors and scientists, educational programs for children and adults, as well as social and charitable initiatives. This turns "The Human Body" from a one-off exhibition into a constantly evolving educational platform that combines entertainment, technology, and health awareness.
