Former US President Joe Biden has officially announced the release of his presidential memoirs. The book, titled 'Promise Me America', will go on sale on November 17. The politician announced this on his X social media account, attaching a video with a personal address to readers.

Personal Choice and Family Values

In his video address, Biden touched upon the topic of his life after leaving the post of head of state. He noted that many people ask him what he is currently doing. The former US leader replied that his time is now divided between three important areas: he spends more time with his family, fights cancer, and works on writing a book.

This announcement was a response to public interest in his activities as a former president, showing that even after the end of his term, he remains active and engaged in processes important to him.

The Essence of the Book: Challenges and Solutions

In his memoirs, Biden plans to outline the events that took place during his time in power. According to the politician, the book is dedicated to the complex challenges the country faced, as well as a detailed analysis of the decisions he made as president. The author pays special attention to explaining the reasons that prompted him to choose a particular course of action at critical moments.

"This book is about the challenges we faced as a country, the decisions I made, and why I made them," RBC-Ukraine quotes Biden.

The Main Message: Faith in the Future

Despite the political context, the central theme of the memoirs goes beyond dry chronology. Biden emphasizes that, above all, his book is a manifesto of faith in the "promise of America." He speaks about the succession of generations, the duty to predecessors, and obligations to future citizens of the country.

"In the promise we made to those who came before us... in the promise we made to each other... and in the promise we made to future generations of Americans," the former president summarized, calling the publication a book about his faith in the American people.

The book is already available for pre-order. In the text of the post, Biden also touched upon the topic of aid to Ukraine, noting that this issue will be covered in detail in the memoirs alongside other key events of his presidency.
