25-year-old model Kaia Gerber, daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, has appeared in the new advertising campaign for the JW Anderson x UGG collaboration. The visuals were released roughly a month and a half after the death of her older brother, Presley Gerber, giving the shoot a profound emotional context. This is reported by Wave RBC.UA citing the Instagram account of the JW Anderson brand.

Campaign Team and Stars

Alongside Kaia, musician Dev Hynes stars as the campaign's co-lead. Photographers Tanya and Zhenya Posternak handled the visual side of the project, while Benjamin Bruno styled the looks. Thus, the frame bridges two different worlds—modeling and music—fitting the collaborative concept uniting the two brands.

Shoot Concept and Collection

The shoot was built around domestic scenes and everyday rituals. The model and musician pose in pieces from the JW Anderson collection: diamond-patterned knitwear, leather jackets, and jeans with asymmetric, "twisted" seams. The collaboration itself merges UGG's signature suede and shearling with loafer details, featuring the Loafer Boot and the Loafer model designed on the basis of the classic UGG Tasman.

Context of Loss

Kaia's older brother, Presley Gerber, passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 27. As the publication notes, this information was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's office. Presley, much like his mother and sister, worked in the modeling industry: he began his career as a teenager, shot campaigns for Calvin Klein, and walked the runway for Moschino.

Family Farewell

On October 18, Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, and Kaia released a joint statement expressing the pain of their loss and thanking everyone for the love and support. Kaia also dedicated a separate message to her brother, recalling their closeness and calling him her best friend and protector: "You know how much I loved being your sister," the model wrote. The new ad campaign marks one of Kaia's first public appearances in a professional context since her loss.
