Timeline of the strikes: from Sloboidskyi to Kholodnohirs'kyi district

According to the city mayor's reports, the first wave of the attack began at 22:34. At that moment, a drone strike was recorded near high-rise residential buildings in the Sloboidskyi district of Kharkiv. Later, Terekhov clarified that one of the drones hit the territory of an educational institution: windows were shattered in nearby buildings, but at the time the message was published, no casualties among residents had been recorded. Contradictory data

During the fact-checking of the materials, it was established that some publications in open sources (in particular, on the ura-inform.com portal) contain information about an attack on Kharkiv using a "Bandierol" missile and a drone strike on a bakery. However, those events are dated 26 July 2026 and relate to a different episode, unrelated to the night attack of 9 September. In the materials devoted specifically to the events of 9–10 September, all three main sources (RBC-Ukraine, Korrespondent, KP) cite a single primary source — the mayor Terekhov's publications in Telegram — and contain no discrepancies in the figures, the time the attack began, or the number of casualties. No differences in versions between the sides of the conflict on this episode have been recorded at the time of publication.

Authorities' response and the current situation

Kharkiv's city services worked through the night of 10 September to deal with the aftermath of the strikes: inspecting damaged buildings, providing aid to the injured, and assessing the state of the infrastructure.
