The Ukrainian film industry is preparing to release a major sequel to the cult family comedy. On August 10, 2026, the official trailer for the film «Krashanka 2.0. Quantum Paradox» was presented. In the new installment, viewers will see how the beloved Zabyak family faces not only quirky domestic situations but also serious challenges related to time travel.
From rocket to time machine: the inventor's ambitious plan
The main character, inventor Ivan Andreevich (played by Stas Boklan), does not intend to stop at what has been achieved. If in previous adventures his experiments were limited to rocket launches, now the scale of the project has grown to a universal level. Andreevich created the "Machine of Quantum Paradoxes," turning an old bus into a full-fledged device for time travel.
The goal of this bold enterprise is to try to change the course of history. Together with his grandson Mishka, the hero plans to travel to the past with a single mission: to prevent the war and avoid a number of tragic events that have already happened. However, as is customary in movies about inventors, the plan quickly goes awry.
Star cast and cameos by famous Ukrainians
The cast of the comedy includes returning stars Stas Boklan, Olesya Zhurakovska, Daria Legeida, Artur Logay, Mikhail Pulyansky, and Vladimir Gladky. Director Taras Dudar also attracted a number of famous Ukrainian personalities to appear in cameo roles. Among them are singer KOLA, choreographer Elena Shoptenko, and WBO light welterweight world champion Denys Berinchyk.
Actor Vladimir Gladky noted in an interview that, despite the fantastic wrapper and adventure plot, the film raises deep and relatable themes — family relationships and mutual understanding between generations. According to him, this is a case where the film should be watched specifically in cinemas, together with friends and family.
Premiere and distribution
The film's premiere is scheduled for October 8, 2026. The picture was created by Mamas Film Production studio, and distribution is handled by Green Light Films. Viewers will be able to see whether the heroes can influence the course of history and what will happen to the family after intervening in time this autumn.
