Instead of balloons: Kyiv region rescue workers host unique gender reveal party with fire foam

In the Kyiv region, State Emergency Service (SES) personnel organized a creative and memorable gender reveal party for their colleague and his wife. The expectant parents decided to forgo traditional balloons and confetti, opting for a format directly related to the professional activities of rescue workers. Special firefighting equipment was used to announce the gender of the unborn child, drawing attention not only from colleagues but also from the wider public on social media.

According to representatives of the Main Directorate of the SES of Ukraine, the future father's colleagues decided to move away from standard scenarios for such events. During the celebration, a fire hose was deployed, from which a stream of bright pink foam was released under pressure at the crucial moment. This unexpected and striking visual effect allowed the couple to learn that they are expecting a baby girl. The agency itself warmly congratulated the young family on the addition, wishing them good health, family harmony, and joyful anticipation.

At that time, pink smoke bombs and foam were used for these purposes. In addition, a year earlier, a similar event was organized by the Main Directorate of the SES in the Chernihiv region, gradually forming a kind of good tradition within the department.
