The Russian government has finalized a new list of software that will be mandatory pre-installed on gadgets. The document regulating requirements for devices intended for sale in the Russian Federation and EAEU countries in 2027 has already been approved.
Key Change in the List for Mobile Devices
The composition of applications for smartphones and tablets has undergone minimal changes compared to the 2026 regulations. The only significant innovation is the replacement of the voice assistant. Instead of VK's "Marusia," the official list now includes "Alice AI" from Yandex. This decision confirms the growing role of the Yandex ecosystem in the country's digital space.
Mandatory Software for Computers
Requirements for personal computers remain stable. The list of programs that must be installed on PCs sold in Russia includes:
- "Yandex Browser";
- "MyOffice" office suite;
- Antivirus solution from "Kaspersky Lab".
These measures are aimed at providing users with a basic set of domestic tools for work and data security.
