Lviv will host the third international literary and art festival "Land of Poets" at the !FESTrepublic creative space on November 7 and 8. This large-scale cultural event will bring together about 200 participants, including prominent Ukrainian poets, writers, actors, musicians, military personnel, and members of the international intellectual community. The theme of this year's large forum is "Ukrainian Titans: New Mythmaking," and the organizers have prepared a rich program featuring nearly 70 diverse events.
Program and Thematic Spaces
Over the course of two days, four stages will operate simultaneously at the festival, bearing symbolic names in honor of prominent figures in Ukrainian literature: "Shevchenko," "Franko," "Lesya," and "Stus." Guests can expect not only traditional poetry readings and book presentations, but also musical concerts, theatrical performances, literary slams, discussion panels, and fashion shows. Founder and program director Mariana Savka noted that the festival's dramaturgy is designed to give visitors a powerful emotional impulse and strengthen their belief in the value of national culture.
Star-Studded Lineup and International Context
Among the hundreds of participants are iconic figures of Ukrainian culture such as actress Ada Rogovtseva, writers Yuriy Izdryk, Yuriy Andrukhovych, Oleksandr Irvanets, Kateryna Kalitko, Dmytro Lazutkin, Artur Dron, Pavlo Vyshebaba, Halyna Kruk, and Yulia Musakovska. The program will also feature paramedic Yulia "Taira" Paievska, musician Oleksandr Polozhynskyi, director Yevhen Nyshchuk, actress Rimma Zyubina, philosopher Natalia Kryvda, and literary scholar Rostyslav Semkiv. A significant element will be the international representation: poets and writers from the USA, Sweden, Poland, Estonia, Croatia, Lithuania, Georgia, and Romania will perform in Lviv and participate in intellectual discussions at the "Cafe Europe" venue.
Cultural Mission and Charitable Component
In addition to a rich artistic and discussion program, the festival fulfills an important social and humanitarian mission. All key events are aimed at comprehending national identity, historical challenges, and the role of art in shaping the country's future. Furthermore, during the days of the events at !FESTrepublic, a fundraiser will be organized to support the Ukrainian army, emphasizing the solidarity of civil society and the cultural community in the face of modern challenges.
