USF Commander Robert "Madyar" Brovdy, in an exclusive statement to RBC-Ukraine, revealed shocking statistics for the first half of the month: Ukrainian drones destroyed more than 5,000 Russian military personnel. This indicates that the war has moved not only to the front lines but deep into the aggressor's rear, where Ukrainian strikes have become regular and systematic.

According to command data, between August 1 and 15, 2026, Ukrainian forces delivered devastating blows to the enemy's manpower. The average daily loss rate for Russia was approximately 333 servicemen. However, the strikes are not limited to personnel only. Madyar reported the destruction of 22 vessels in the first half of the month. The total count of destroyed or damaged Russian ships since the beginning of the operation has reached 228 units. This demonstrates that Ukraine is effectively blocking the enemy's sea supply routes and logistical chains, paralyzing its ability to transport resources.
New Strategy for Liberating Crimea: "Inflict Pain on the Enemy"
Special attention in the report was paid to the situation in occupied Crimea. The USF Commander confirmed that work to destroy the peninsula's energy infrastructure continues with increasing intensity. In the last two weeks, 74 energy nodes were hit, and over 45 days, 243 objects were struck. Madyar emphasized that the strategy is not a ground assault, but the total exhaustion of the occupiers' resources through constant strikes on critical infrastructure. Despite successes, Madyar does not hide that the situation remains tense. Russia continues to increase the intensity of missile and combined strikes using drones. Furthermore, a new wave of mobilization is underway in Moscow, which the Kremlin is trying to hide from the public. The Commander also pointed out the problem of fluctuating international partners of Ukraine, which creates additional difficulties in obtaining the necessary support and weapons to continue offensive operations.
