On the night of July 30, the Russian army launched a series of massive strikes across Ukrainian territory. The attacks affected Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and Lviv. According to emergency services, dozens of civilians, including children, were killed and injured as a result of the shelling.
Tragedy near Kropyvnytskyi
One of the heaviest casualties of the night attack occurred in a village near Kropyvnytskyi. A ballistic missile struck a residential house directly, where a large family lived. Six people were killed, including girls aged 5 and 12. Eight others were injured, including two boys aged 6 and 15.
Strikes on Kyiv and the Region
In the Brovary district of Kyiv Oblast, five people were injured as a result of the shelling, including a minor. A two-story private residential house was partially destroyed. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service extracted three injured people from the rubble and hospitalized them at a local hospital. Medical assistance was provided on-site to two other individuals.
In the capital itself, fires were reported in the Obolon and Sviatoshyn districts. One person was killed as a result of the strike on Kyiv. City Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the information regarding the fires and casualties.
Situation in Lviv
The western region of Ukraine was also subjected to an attack. In Lviv, rescuers are clearing rubble from multi-story apartment buildings. Currently, 15 injured people are known.
Government Response
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KOMA) emphasized that Russian forces once again attacked civilian infrastructure and the peaceful population. Residents of the region were urged to strictly observe safety rules: do not ignore air raid alarms and take shelter in bomb shelters in a timely manner to preserve their lives.
