On Monday morning, October 19, power supply was partially disrupted and water supply was cut off in several regions of Ukraine. Local authorities attribute this to the consequences of a massive nighttime Russian attack on energy infrastructure facilities across different regions of the country.

Kharkov Region: Attack Lasts Almost a Day

Mayor of Lozovaya in the Kharkov region Sergey Zelensky reported on Facebook that 'the massive enemy attack has been ongoing for almost a day.' According to him, the final scale of the consequences is being determined, and emergency and municipal services are working. Kyiv Region: Combined Strike

Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Timur Tkachenko clarified that a combined strike with ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as strike drones, was launched against the capital region. The first impacts in Kyiv were recorded late Sunday evening, October 18. Due to the strike, the 'Chernihivska' and 'Lisova' metro stations were closed for entry and exit; in the morning, trains operated from 'Akademmistechko' to 'Darnytsia'.

Services' Reaction and Recommendations

In all affected regions, authorities emphasize that the threat persists and responsible services are carrying out restoration work. Residents are advised to follow safety rules, monitor official reports, and stay in shelters whenever possible.
