Mikhail Fedorov, holding one of the key positions in the Ukrainian government, delivered a detailed report on his activities in the fields of defense and digitization. At a briefing, he stated that he has always acted in the interests of the president and has never let the head of state down.
Personal responsibility and absence of scandals
In his address, Fedorov emphasized the high level of trust from the head of state. According to him, among the president's inner circle, he is the one who values him the most. The Minister also focused on the cleanliness of his reputation, noting that during his tenure, there has not been a single corruption scandal or the establishment of illegal schemes.
Digital transformation and wartime
Fedorov recalled the large-scale reforms carried out by his ministry. In particular, he listed the following achievements:
- Creation of a digital state;
- Launch of the 'Diia' and 'Mriya' services;
- Changes to the tax system for IT companies.
Separately, the Minister noted that since 2022, with the start of the full-scale war, his work has been fully reoriented towards defense tasks.
Blocking initiatives and personnel issues
Despite the positive report on personal achievements, Fedorov touched upon problematic aspects. He stated that he faces the blocking of his initiatives. As an example, he cited proposals for personnel reshuffles in the army: changing the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and appointing stronger corps commanders.
