The Ukrainian music scene is preparing for the emergence of a new generation of artists. The SWEET.TV channel has officially started filming the updated season of the show 'Fabrika Zirok'. The project has received a major reboot: instead of the familiar 'Star House' format, participants will undergo training in a modern Music Academy created on the basis of Respublika STEAM School.

Massive selection and fierce competition

The relaunch of the legendary show has caused a huge resonance among young performers. The project organizers received more than 1782 applications from both Ukraine and abroad. Experts conducted a preliminary selection and invited 50 of the strongest vocalists to Kyiv for final live auditions.

Head of the SWEET.TV Originals, Big Entertainment Shows direction, Vladimir Zavadyuk, emphasized that the team was looking not just for owners of beautiful voices, but for personalities with charisma and ambition.

«We selected very strong participants — ambitious, unique and open to learning. For us, it is important to find not only talented vocalists, but also personalities with their own vision, character and desire to develop», — he noted.

Casting stages and jury composition

The selection process will take place in several stages. First, the project team will assess the vocal abilities, artistry and readiness for training of 50 candidates. As a result of this stage, 30 participants will remain, who will be auditioned by the main mentor Alan Badoev, producers and the show team. Then 20 finalists will be determined for the final audition, as a result of which 11 future 'fabrikants' will be selected.

In the final selection, in addition to Badoev, the following will participate:

  • Irina Gorova — music producer, founder of the POMITNI label;
  • Ivan Klymenko — hitmaker, producer, founder of the ENKO label;
  • Mikhail Khonyakin — music producer.

Star coaches and support for participants

Future mentors of the project joined the live castings: singer TAYANNA, performer LAUD, Vitaly Azhnov and Yana Tsybulska. They not only assessed the potential of the contestants, but will also become their coaches during training at the music academy.

Vladimir Dantes and Dasha Kubik will play a special role in supporting the participants. They will help the contestants cope with nervousness, and show the audience the backstage of the project and the most emotional moments of the selection.

Premiere and show format

The main focus of the new season is on the professional development of young artists. «We are creating an environment where the main thing is development, professional growth and a quality music product. This is how a new generation of Ukrainian artists and new Ukrainian music is born», — added Vladimir Zavadyuk.

The premiere of the updated 'Fabrika Zirok' will take place on September 4 on SWEET.TV. New episodes will be released on Fridays.
