Tragedy in the Kharkiv suburbs
Around noon on July 19, Russian forces struck a suburb of Kharkiv. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Syniehubov, in his Telegram channel. Preliminary data indicates that three people were killed in the shelling. Another 13 residents were injured with varying degrees of severity. Rescue services and medical personnel continue to work at the scene to assess the full extent of the damage and assist the victims.
Massive attack on Kyiv
On the night of July 19, Ukraine faced one of the most massive attacks in recent times. Russia launched 41 missiles and 125 attack unmanned aerial vehicles at the country. Kyiv was the main target of the strike. The air defense system operated effectively, shooting down most enemy targets, including almost all ballistic equipment, but it was not possible to avoid all hits.
Damage to residential buildings and fires were recorded in several districts of the Ukrainian capital. As a result of the night shelling, one person was killed and 15 others were injured.
